…a FREE resource for women with lipedema!
This website is dedicated to the 15% of all women worldwide suffering from lipedema. A keto diet is typically recommended by doctors for lipedema, but this resource is all about how a health promoting, plant based vegan diet is superior to fad diets to slow the progression of this rare adipose disorder. I am a former teacher and medical educator turned first generation family farmer who still loves to deep dive in scientific literature in my quest to live a disease-free life with optimal wellness. I developed lipedema during puberty long before I knew there was a name for the condition that caused my pear shaped body and heavy, painful legs.
I created this space to help women like me take back their health through the power of plants. After being diagnosed with lipedema, I began searching for ways to manage symptoms naturally—and discovered how transformative a targeted vegan lifestyle could be. Here, I share what’s worked for me: anti-inflammatory recipes, science-backed strategies, and gentle support for women navigating life with lipedema. Whether you’re newly diagnosed or looking for a sustainable path forward, I hope this site empowers you to feel strong, nourished, and in control of your body again. No matter where you are in your journey, I’m glad you are here because I have so much research-based lipedema information to share about addressing the root cause of this debilitating condition!
